At Dance Star we pride ourselves in being an affordable studio. We offer sibling discounts, affordable classes, costumes and fees. Throughout the year we also offer fundraisers for optional participation to help offset costs. We also offer dance wear and shoes at a low price! We are happy to place orders frequently to help assist our busy families.

In addition to learning how to dance like a star, we also focus on our core values as well, which consist of teaching the students to be courteous, respectful, kind, have confidence and to always believe in themselves! Our curriculum, choreography, costumes and music selections will always be age appropriate based on the class. We want learning to dance to be fun and exciting!
Meet Our Instructors
Dance Star instructors have over 30 years of experience both in teaching and receiving dance instruction.
They enjoy not only teaching but building and establishing a relationship with every student and their families. It is a blessing and privilege to watch them grow both as dancers and individuals throughout the years.
Ms Cole – Owner / Instructor
Ms Cole began her dance career at age 3. By age 5 she entered into the competition world of dance and twirl, placing at each event. Cheerleading was also a passion of Miss Cole’s beginning in elementary school and continuing through her senior year, which also dealt with competitions and camps. In 1994 she was the youngest member dancing at the Wildhorse Saloon, taping 2 to 3 shows per week. At this time she was also an assistant teacher and attended conventions for country western dance. Ms Cole began her student teaching at the age of 16 both taking and teaching classes throughout her high school years. In 2006 she opened Dance Star with the hopes of sharing her love of the performing arts with everyone. In 2012 she was asked to choreograph a dance for an Autism event which was filmed for a documentary. In 2013 she became the first person in the state of Tennessee to become certified in Autism Movement Therapy. In 2015 she partnered with a non-profit, 2 Dance 2 Dream, to teach dance to children and adults with special needs at no cost to the families.
Ms Klaine – Instructor
Ms Klaine began her journey in the dance world many years ago as a dance mom. She handles all of the administrative duties as well as assisting our families with their dancing needs. Ms Klaine is also our Acro instructor, she teaches intro to acrobatic arts and advanced acro. She also handles some of our private lessons.
In 2009, she became certified in Zumba. In 2013 she traveled to Portland Oregon to become certified in Autism Movement Therapy along with Ms. Cole. In January of 2015 she participated in training with 2Dance 2Dream. She is a very important and intricate part of our Dance Star team. Ms Klaine is always willing to go the extra mile, and always ensures that every detail is taken care of.
Ms Presleigh – Instructor
Presleigh is a vibrant and talented individual with a 10-year dance experience. She has dedicated 8 years to competitive dance, participating both through a studio and her high school. Prior to becoming a teacher herself, she spent 5 years dancing at Dance Star. Presleigh is currently pursuing nursing studies at Columbia State Community College while also indulging in her passions for guitar playing and baking.
Ms Morgan – Instructor
Morgan Hayes, hailing from Florence, Alabama, is a fun-loving dancer with a whopping 14 years of experience at Applause Fine Arts School. For 12 marvelous years, she showcased her talents on the competitive team, leaving audiences in awe. Throughout her high school years at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts, she delighted in dance and art classes, and even graced the Big Blue Band Color guard with her presence. Currently pursuing a dance major at MTSU, Morgan is eagerly anticipating her role in the Band of Blue Color Guard this fall. The sheer joy and enthusiasm that comes with teaching at Dance Star has her absolutely thrilled!
